Nelon delivered "Cultural Miscues: A Newbie Arrives in Hong Kong", a talk on cultural differences at the 5th Annual US-China International Symposium, sponsored by Trinity University.      Nelon, Davis & Associates presented a seminar featuring the impact of collaboration in the workplace using mobile devices, the fifth in its "Harnessing Technology" seminar series. The seminar was conducted on April 25th at The Hampton Inn, Natick, Massachusetts. During the seminar, Mr. Drew Morris, Chief Technology Officer, HyperOffice,  presented his insights on the future impact of mobile devices and the Cloud on our organizations. Ms. Bonnie Biocchi, President and CEO, MetroWest Chamber of Commerce, shared her wide-ranging understanding of organizations and business applications to mobilize resources among the Chamber membership to accomplish proposed programs. Mr. Ross Church, President, Referral Hub Chapter, BNI, described how the Chapter uses mobile collaboration software to coordinate critical functions involving over thirty members to meet chapter goals. And Mr. Joe Davis, Partner, NDA, demonstrated the process of finding and following prospects through a typical sales cycle, enabling an organization to maintain contact with  prospects regardless of their choice of mobile device.

     Nelon, Davis & Associates presented a seminar discussing process, program and project management concepts, the fourth in its "Harnessing Technology" seminar series. The seminar was conducted on February 15th at the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce offices in Framingham, Massachusetts. During the seminar, NDA  presented the process, program and project (the three P's) business matrix, defining the differences and synergies among them. A working example of the three P's illustrated how a business can improve it's operating results by applying cloud-based technology to coordinate disparate people, places and activities. A construction site example depicted the successful use of collaborative software to achieve significant returns on the project. A consumer packaged goods case study explored the values of applying the P's to a business opportunity. And Patty Danos, Director, Marketing and Events for MetroWest Chamber of Commerce, showed the seminar attendees how the Chamber uses NDA's Total OfficeTM software real-time to manage the Chamber's Taste of MetroWest event.
